You guys! I was so excited to be able to interview Leanne Shirtliffe!
Super excited. You can tell when I laugh my maniacal crazy laugh, which I edited out whenever possible, and the fact that I kept shouting at her. That’s nervous crazy laugh and excited loud talking you’ll be hearing.
Sigh.
Leanne, if you let me interview you for your next book, I almost promise not to be so much like myself.
Anyway, I kept poor Leanne talking for so long, ya’ll, and she was so sweet about not just hanging up on me. She’s cool like that, you know. But since the interview ran longer than I expected, I chopped off this little bit as a kind of teaser.

Not at all! But I’ll also link to yours on the Thursday one since it hasn’t posted to people’s email yet. (I just got back from the dentist and hadn’t pulled yours up yet.) The Thursday one for me is my main event, and that still gives them a few days to get in the drawing.

I can’t wait to read this book. It may give me the courage to write about the wild things you and Rebecca did as children. I could add in Lo and Pey, as well. I really like the podcast.

And the time Joey and I spread baby powder all over the bedroom. Ah, good times.

I did forget that. Now I feel like I should go back over there and ‘fess up. And also, I was protecting my baby sister. With a leash. So she wouldn’t escape and get hurt.
