Week In Review – Not Your Average Bucket List

Saturday
I would love to have a whole weekend off soon.

Sunday
Today I finally got happy about fall.
When I threw a cape over my crappy, worn-out,
mix-matched, around-the-house clothes
so I could go to the grocery store.

Monday
Once again I’m reminded that recipes
work out best for me
when I follow them.

Tuesday
I got my furnace fixed today,
and I quickly realized there is a super fine line between
being too cold in the house to want to do anything
and too warm in the house to want to do anything.

Wednesday
Today I got locked in a bathroom, and the first thing
I thought was that now I can say that’s happened to me!
It’s the kind of comedy you see in movies and tv,
but most people in their whole lives will never
get locked in a bathroom

Thursday
In another tv, movie and YouTube-worthy comedy first,
today I rolled off the back of a treadmill
and found myself on my ass on the floor.
Yes I did.
I dropped my phone on the treadmill, and when
I looked down at it, I just stopped walking…
What a doofus.

Friday
Sometimes I make mistakes,
and by sometimes I mean quite often.
And by quite often, I mean all the time.

Any odd things on your real or imaginary bucket list?

    • Haha – it was mostly funny. At least there weren’t many people there when I fell off the treadmill. I’m an awful big blusher.

  2. I have never fallen off a treadmill but I have locked myself in the bathroom…my own which is quite a feat. I also like when the weather is cool enough to wear something over “home clothes” when I go out. I like hats too so I don’t have to think about my hair. And after more than 40 years working I now have every week end off. See something for you to look forward to. šŸ™‚

    • You give me hope!

Luckily I was at work, so I knew I’d be missed eventually! As for falling off the treadmill, it’s something I’ll avoid in future. šŸ™‚

  3. If I didn’t know better, I’d have thought you made some of that up! Love all your mishaps – thanks!

    • I have to say that immediately knowing I’d put it on the list made falling off the treadmill funny rather than horrifying. I didn’t even blush; I just laughed and for back on. šŸ™‚
