Hmmm, thanks for that. I just had a pep talk with myself about this. I’m currently trying to conquer something in my life. 🙂
It’s so interesting how these quotes come up when we need them. I had the whole year done already, and so I never know what’s coming up myself. It’s wonderful to see where they are being helpful for someone. Sometimes that someone is me 🙂
Great luck with your conquest! You can do it!!
I love this quote. I’m about to run my longest distance race this weekend and I need to remember this when it gets tough.
Oh, I hope you have a really successful run! I’m glad this quote came up when it did, I agree it’s a great little mantra to say to yourself as it starts to get really tough out there – I can conquer myself. I just keep going, I can conquer discomfort and tiredness! You have such a strong will and you will keep running…
Just keep running, just keep running, running, running… Okay, that’s inspired by Dori from Nemo, but it works, too 🙂
I actually do say to myself, “Just keep going, just keep going, just keep going …” over and over when things get tough on a run, especially running uphill. It helps!
That’s awesome! I bet it does help – it’s a short and encouraging and a good rhythm. I believe you can do anything you set your mind to, Angela! You’ve got a lot of inner strength!
