  1. I went to a birthday party at a bar last weekend and they played The Princess Bride on the big screen, without sound. I was immediately sucked in!

    • I hope you had fun at the party! I get sucked in every time, too. I bet you could practically recite the lines without the sound. 🙂

  2. Have you ever read the book? It is very different from the movie! I think this is one time I liked the book better than the movie. Probably because I saw the movie maybe 10 times before I ever read the book!

    • No, I haven’t. I think I knew there was a book first – I’m thinking they talk about that in some of the extra features. I’ll have to check into that.

But it didn’t ruin the movie for you? I mean liking the book better, even though you had seen the movie first?

      • Oops! I said that backwards! I meant to say it is one time I liked the MOVIE better than the BOOK! (I had wisdom teeth pulled several days ago and as you can see,I really am dumber now).

        • I hope you’re not still in pain!

I usually like the books better too; they have so much more information to devour! But I was surprised about The Princess Bride, since the movie is so captivating. Good to know I don’t have to search down that book now, haha.

  3. I loved that movie too! I’ve been getting a lot of reminders lately to believe in happy endings…

Thank you for this one 🙂

Averageinsuburbia, you have my sympathies. My son just had all 4 of his wisdom teeth removed too. Wow~it’s rough, isn’t it? Hope you are healed!

    • Hi Melissa! I’m glad you liked the quote. It is a good reminder, isn’t it?

    • Poor guy! I’m glad I only had two. Yesterday was actually my worst day (3 days after the surgery) but today things are looking up. I hope your son is also on the way to recovery!
