the Infinite Monkey speaks: on perception

Random brilliance from across the blogosphere…

.

Perception shapes reality by allowing us to see only what we believe.  Some people were literally unable to see kindness when it was right in front of them, reacting with suspicion and distrust because they did not believe that kindness without hidden agenda even existed.  And because they ran away from it, their perception remains their reality.

    • I am slow to post these days, but a big part of that is all the work I’m doing right now for one of my resolutions. Which, of course, I wouldn’t have made, much less followed through on without this blog.

This was a great quote from you! And so, so true. I read your post on giving last night, and a couple from your new blog. I will try to get over to visit the Tanzania blog some more soon!
