Week In Review – Sickness(es)
Saturday
I knew when I went in to work tonight
that it was going to storm.
And that it would be raining all night.
So I guess that’s why I decided
to leave my umbrella in the car.
Sunday
After all the rain yesterday,
Today was bright and beautiful.
The perfect day to get out
and go to work for 8 hours.
Monday
I went to the doctors today, because
I’ve been sick for 4 weeks, going on 5!
It’s sitting in my chest,
and I don’t like it!
😦
Tuesday
I didn’t start my medicine last night,
because it was late and I would rather
take it in the mornings.
And then I forgot it this morning.
And then I forgot it all day long.
Wednesday
So, I bought World War Z last Friday,
and I’ve watched it or listened to it
every night since then.
Right before bed.
I think it’s a zombie sickness.
But not THE zombie sickness.
Right?
Thursday
Yep, that’s definitely a hole in my shoe.
I can tell because of
the sock poking through it.
Friday
So when the medicine bottle says
“take with food”
it really means it.
I didn’t take with food,
and I’ve been sick all day.

Well, financial planning IS boring, so don’t feel bad.

Actually, I stupidly set this to post without finishing it, so that financial thing was from last year. But I’m sure it still applies!

Haha! I used to do these last year, and they were definitely laced with stupidity! I’ve been wanting to bring them back for a while – since I quit, I’ve had nowhere to put all the dumb stuff I do. 🙂
Yeah, stupid shit can pile up a bit…….probably half the reason I needed an alternate personality 🙂
Nothing worse than being sick then being sicker cause of the meds. Feel better quick. I like these posts. Yep, you should do them again.
Thanks Patricia, on both counts! I’m going to try to keep these up – I have the Sun slot to the Infinite Monkey and that’s one reason I’ve waited so long. But I figure a week can go from Sat to Fri if I want, right?
I say it is your blog and the week can start and end and have as many days as you want whenever you want.
