steadily skipping stones 
What a great quote. I was just telling someone yesterday how in some ways Twitter (and blogging, too) expands your world, but shrinks it, too. I said that because I was out to lunch with someone I met in town via social media. Local AND global this blogging stuff is!
I’ve said and felt that too. In so many ways my world gets bigger, social media creates these expansions. But at the same time, the world gets smaller because I can interact with people from across the globe with just a few clicks on the keyboard. Or through a cyber connection, I can meet someone who lives around the corner.
