The first cool morning
and autumn reveals herself to me:
she pulls her cape ’round,
crimson,
gold,
orange,
bottomless depths of evergreen,
and brown.

I love the pictures you share of your kids! My favorites were the vacation ones where you just saw them from the back, especially watching television in all the different places 🙂

We saw the Skyline caverns, then drove the whole Skyline Drive. Saw Stony Man, just about this time of year. Gorgeous photos! Brings back fond memories. Did you know there are graves up there?
I didn’t know that. You always seem to know about everything! I’ve been to Luray Caverns several times, but I don’t think I’ve been to Skyline caverns. And I’ve only been on a small portion of Skyline Drive, but it’s so pretty!
