the Infinite Monkey speaks: alternative power sources

Random brilliance from across the blogosphere…

.

The way we are currently trying to squeeze a few kw of power from a wind mill is grossly inefficient when you calculate cost and maintenance.  If we secure a heard of ZOMBIES to power generating tread mills, and hang a nice juicy hunk of meat in the front with a person taunting them, they will go forever. We might evolve to the point that each new home has its own ZOMBIE power generation facility, obviously it will need to be heavily secured. The power source will be endless, you will only need to swap out a few ZOMBIES when the parts fall off, but that will be easy and free.

Day 24

Michelle and Louis of the Zombie Apocalypse

You guys, the talented Amy Severson has written me into one of her awesome zombie stories! I met Amy on her blog back in 2011 when she was writing short stories every month to go along with her cut and fold zombie calendar. Way back then I dreamed of being in one of those stories, even if I got eaten. In 2012, Amy switched to a Robot-a-Month calendar and her writing just got better and better.

2013 brought a return of the zombies, in the form of a new Zombie-a-Month Calendar. Amy’s readers were thrilled – and I took the opportunity to ask if I could be in a story. All I wanted for my story was to be wearing kick-ass boots. I mean, not only wearing the boots, but that’s the only thing I asked for.

And Amy said yes! I was so excited. And now the story has been posted! Squeeeee….

Amy even put Louis in the action. I told him about it and he was very excited, too.

If you’d like to read “my” zombie story, here it is: deceased and desist.

Thank you Amy!!!

the Infinite Monkey speaks: on risk

Random brilliance from across the blogosphere…

Sometimes there is no easy way, and the only possible road to success is to let go of what you know and what you are comfortable with and put it all on the line.  In doing so, failure is a definite possibility.  But if we don’t even try, then failure is inevitable.

the Infinite Monkey speaks: on the inside

It doesn’t matter how old we are; we are never really grown up.  Bigger and older on the outside maybe.  But inside we are all little kids just trying to make sense of the world and trying to find where we fit in the scheme of things.
