Random Thoughts: proper shower attire
So I got in the shower and got my glasses wet.
Because I wore my glasses into the shower.
.
At least it wasn’t socks.
~~~
Have you ever worn something into the shower?
Or maybe worn your slippers to work?
come to think of it, I have gotten in the shower with my glasses and my socks, not at the same time though. Thank you for reminding me..sheesh..:)
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten in with my socks before, but I think this is the second time with my glasses. Mostly I’m one to think, “why does everything look so weird?” and then realize I’m not wearing my glasses. Also, you are welcome! π
I’ve definitely been spotted frantically searching for the glasses that were on my face.
Haha, I haven’t done that yet. That time’s coming, I’m sure.
Boots,
I was late for Gym class in grade 11 and did a fast change into my gym shorts and white T shirt in the locker room then went running out into the gymnasium, I knew something was odd about my shirt . . . it felt like the sleeves were tighter.
There I was in the middle of the Gymnasium with about 30 classmates laughing hysterically. It took me a second to realize that I had somehow packed one of my Mom’s white blouses into my Gym-bag.
Any prizes?
You totally win the prize!! If I had a prize, anyway. π
Ok, I will tell you the most embarrassing one for me: I was at work one day and the arm of my sweater felt lumpy. I reached in and pulled out a pair of underwear – they’d tucked themselves up the sleeve in the dryer. Thought I’d never live that one down. Also, I have gone to work and had to wear my coat all day because I forgot to put on a bra. But the underwear one was way worse.
I wear slippers to classes all the time. And lol yeah, I’ve worn glasses into a shower once, I think.
I normally have this little morning routine and just follow it naturally. I have no recollection what was going through my mind that morning, why I forgot to take them off. But if I wear slippers out the door, it’s the same thing – my mind is a million miles away.
Hahaha! This cracked me up! I love that you made a rhyme out of your “moment.”
It was a moment, all right! But it’s fun to throw out the silly stuff on here. π
