the Infinite Monkey speaks: what more?

Random brilliance from across the blogosphere…

.

Something powerful happens when we see each other. We move beyond thinking we’ve “done everything we can” and start exploring what it means to offer our whole selves to someone, to suffer with them, and to let them suffer with us.

Hi I am brand new to your blog and I am really enjoying it! I have been reading lots of older posts. GREAT stuff! I listened to your Podcast the other day with Pastor Rob Shepherd 🙂 He has been our Pastor for several years now and we have been with him from the start of Next Level Church. Today’s post was wonderful, eye opening, and inspiring! I can’t wait to read more!

    • Hi Kim! Thank you very much for your nice words! And thank you for looking around here 🙂 That interview was fun; Rob seems like such a nice person. And he’s said he’d come back and talk to me sometime about starting a new church plant! I’m excited to hear all about that.

Thank you for sharing something that touches my heart. So often we don’t really see people, being so caught up in our own stuff. What a beautiful reminder to allow ourselves to see AND be seen.

    • Yes, it’s super hard for me to give and receive fully. I am loving toward my family when I see them, but I do keep myself apart a lot. It is a self-protective measure, I’m sure, that I have slowly and deeply grown into. But I know I’m shutting myself off from the true and rich possibilities of life by doing so.
