Week In Review – Darn Alarm!

Sunday
I walked into a room today and a picture immediately fell off a shelf.
Yesterday and today, objects jumped right off of a shelf and broke.
It’s almost enough to make me believe in ghosts or something.
Well…yesterday it was more like I knocked something off of a shelf.
In fact, it was exactly like that.
But, still.

Monday
This morning, my alarm woke me out of a dream that had Johhny Depp in it.
We were all costumed in what I think of as Victorian era clothing,
probably because when I think of Johnny Depp, I think of The Curse of the Black Pearl.
Of course, I have no idea when that movie was supposed to have taken place.

Anyway, he wasn’t a pirate in my dream.
He was kind of a cad.

But I didn’t mind.

Tuesday
We had exceptionally nice weather today, very unusual for January.
I don’t know what the temperature was, but I didn’t even need a jacket.
The warm weather really brought out the deer!
Driving home from work tonight, I  saw between 15 & 20 of them.

Wednesday
I went to my sister’s after work tonight for a family dinner
to celebrate my nephew Peyton’s birthday.
Happy Belated Birthday, Peyton!

Thursday
My sister, my nephew and my friend are all thinking about starting blogs.
I can only assume they were inspired by me,
since my blog is so completely awesome!
Wait…my nephew only saw my blog for the first time last night…

Friday
When I let Louis out tonight, we were surprised to discover
that it had snowed since I got home from work.
It wasn’t much, but any amount of snow is exciting!

Saturday
It’s melting, melting…
What a world….

  1. I like your week in review. My elbow often goes out looking for trouble; it hits things for no reason. So I understand about the shelf and the ghost.

    • Yeah, I made a resolution to de-clutter, but this isn’t how I intended to do it!

  3. I’ve always thought it was funny that the Wicked Witch of the West bemoaned the state of the world as she melted. Like her demise was caused by socioeconomic misunderstandings. And pretty people.

    • I’m glad someone commented on my wicked witch quote! It is kind of funny, isn’t it? I was married to a guy like that, who’s immediate reaction was to blame the world for things that he had done wrong. Was married. When he got his first DUI (yes, I said first), he actually said that it wasn’t his fault because other people do that kind of thing, and he’s the only one who gets caught. He said things like, “that cop shouldn’t have even been there” (it was 8am on a country road), “I just have bad luck”, etc. What a world, what a world…
