A great quote from a great lady.

Yes, I really like this quote (of course I say that a lot, haha). I try to remember this one, but it’s hard to hold on to that enthusiasm every day.

    My sentiments exactly. πŸ˜€

However, it’s easier said than done. I don’t think I can “reach out eagerly” for a plate of fried cockroaches!

HAHA! Great example! Neither could I. I guess in some cases, it’s good live life to the fullest in a theoretical manner, but not so much literally going for the gusto.

Now THIS quote, this is a great (and true) one : “In some cases, it’s good live life to the fullest in a theoretical manner, but not so much literally going for the gusto.”
Hahaha! But nobody likes true quotes 😦

You’re right! We love all the inspiring and go for it quotes, don’t we? I’ve been doing that all year, haha! I do love them, but my life is a little less inspiring than the quotes πŸ™‚

It’s always good to have people tell you that it’s going to be all right (when you’re really worried, that is), even if it really won’t be. Sometimes you need that blind faith and assurance.
Ignorance ain’t bliss for nothing πŸ™‚

That is so good! Now that’s a quote!

I like this! I suppose fear of new experiences is normal. The important thing is that you don’t allow it to paralyse you. Which is why we should all reach out for new experiences despite the fear – it teaches us to overcome ourselves and grow.

Haha – I’m still not eating cockroaches! πŸ™‚

But yes, you’re so right – we should push ourselves and our limits to experience new things. Maybe I won’t make the big leap to cockroaches, but I can at least push myself to try a beet or a mango.

I love what you say – I didn’t think before about how the little fears add up over time. They start off small, but can grow and grow until you’re frozen. If you push yourself to do the things that scare you a little bit, then you grow in the other direction, like you said! You always have great comments.

Love this quote! Reminds there’s a book I’ve been meaning to read about a writer’s year living by E Roosevelt’s words.

My Year with Eleanor – is that the one? I read a blog review for that last year. I just followed you on Pinterest, the review is pinned to my Books board as a reminder for me to read it too. I have a lot of reminders on there, wonder if I’ll ever get to them?
