About Me

I’m a Christian, a writer, a podcaster, a daughter, sister and aunt. I love photography, and I wish sometimes that my eyes were cameras. But if I could have only one wish for myself, it would be a beautiful singing voice. Because I love to sing, but you wouldn’t love to hear me sing.

Writing brings me great joy, as does talking to people for the podcast. I just love picking people’s brains and finding out who they are. It’s the most fun!

I’m a homebody and sometimes a little hermity, and maybe too wrapped up in my own little world from time to time. I talk too much and my comments are too long, and oh well.

Stories and thoughts and ideas and almost anything will send my mind shooting in multiple directions at once, and it’s hard for me to decide which trail to follow. I want to go everywhere, everywhere, everywhere – it’s all so fascinating! – and that can make the writing hard. Editing is my friend.

In person I sometimes confuse people, and even myself, when I try to verbally go down more than one trail at a time. I can’t spit out what I’m thinking because my brain’s trying to make my mouth say two or three different thoughts all at once. Not a good trait in a podcaster, haha! Too bad there isn’t an edit mode on the world we live out loud.

Also, I love movies and I’m scared of sharks and zombies. And if you want to hear about that, it’s all in the Director’s Cut. 🙂

About Me, The Director’s Cut – the long version.

  1. I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award because I enjoy and admire your blog. There are some rules that go with it. I broke one of them, but I don’t think anyone will notice. If you have done this before or it’s not something you really want to do, file it away. I understand.

    Here are the rules:

    1. Thank the award-giver and link back to them in your post.
    2.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.

    3. 3. Pass this award along to 15 recently discovered blogs you enjoy reading.

    4. 4. Contact your chosen bloggers to let them know about the award.

Thank you for all your great posts.

  2. OK, I shall follow you…despite the Muppet/Electric Company attempted segregation…. 😉

“Contact….is the answer….is the reason….that everything happens….” (OK, working at a PBS station didn’t hurt, but 3-2-1 was long gone by then, so I’ll chalk it up to rabid fandom and some well-placed YouTube videos)

Looking forward to playing in the sandbox!

    • Thank you! But I was the greedy one – I wanted them both! Thanks for the Contact words, too. I remembered “that everything happens”, but I could not remember the middle part for the life of me.

      Thanks for subscribing; I hope I don’t disappoint :).
